Welcome to Adopt London
We are 4 regional adoption agencies covering 24 London local authorities. Adopt London has a wealth of expertise in bringing together children with safe, secure, loving and permanent adoptive families.
We work with residents across Greater London and the Home Counties. Adopt London is truly at the heart of London’s adoption community and by working together we have become stronger and aim to provide the best possible outcomes for our London children.
Meet Our ChildrenThe adoption community for London
We officially launched Adopt London in February 2020 – Watch our video here.
We believe that all children deserve to grow up in a loving, stable family and we’re dedicating all our time and energy to finding those families. We’ll provide them with the training and support they need to help children thrive.
By bringing together adoption professionals from local authorities across London, we can provide high levels of expertise and support to our adoptive families at all stages of the adoption process. We have good contacts with local schools and health services. We also work closely with our adoptive parents and with their inspiration and direction, we ensure that we provide the kind of support that families want and need.
Adoption is an exciting, challenging, and life-changing experience for everyone involved. We need adoptive parents from all walks of life to reflect the range of children we have who are looking for a secure home with patience, understanding, and loving-kindness.

Tom and his husband Dan adopted their son about 2 years ago. Family life is busy and has its challenges, but it is also everything they hoped it would be. They talked to us about the assessment process, matching with their son, and how they are all looking forward to welcoming another adopted child into their home, and adjusting to life as a family of four.

We spoke to Dominic about his experience of being adopted by a white British couple and brought to the UK as a baby from Thailand. Dominic is a strong advocate for adoption; he wears his adoption ‘like a badge of honour’ and hopes that talking about it will give other children the opportunities and aspirations that they deserve.
