Celebrating London’s diverse adoption communities, Adopt London have experienced adoption staff finding families for children, recruiting adopters and offering adoption support to children, families, birth parents and adopted adults.
We provide adoption services for 24 London local authorities. Our boroughs are Barking & Dagenham, Barnet, Brent, Camden, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Haringey, Havering, Hounslow, Islington, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Richmond, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets and Wandsworth. About Us
We are four Regional Adoption Agencies, Adopt London North, Adopt London East, Adopt London South and Adopt London West that started working together in 2020. We officially launched Adopt London in February 2020 – Watch our video here.
Whether you want to start your adoption journey today, are just looking to find out bit more about adoption or wish to find the right adoption support services for you and your family – you are in the right place. Our staff are experienced, friendly and professional, and ready to talk you through the adoption process, providing support every step of the way. We work closely with children’s social workers to find the right family for every child. Our specialist family finders are looking for new families every day for our London children.
Anyone can adopt, whether they are single, married, a same sex couple, in employment or not working, whether you already have children or not.
You must legally be a UK resident with a permanent address in the UK, and have been so for at least 12 months.
You must be aged over 21, and really want to provide a stable, loving home for a child until adulthood and beyond.
You must not have a criminal conviction against a child.

Adopt London North
Adopt London North comprises of six local authorities; Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and is hosted by Islington. It also welcomes applications outside of its boroughs and north of London.

Adopt London South comprises of ten local authorities; Croydon, Greenwich, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond, Sutton, Wandsworth and is hosted by Southwark. It also welcomes applications outside of its boroughs and south of London.
