Becoming an adoptive parent is probably one of the most rewarding things you can do. Your life takes on a whole new meaning and gives a child who needs it a second chance. Being mum or dad to any of our children needs patience and an ability to provide consistent and therapeutic parenting. If you have a commitment to understand their needs and to seek training and support from professionals and other parents, we’d like to hear from you.
About neuro-diversity
Some of our children are neuro-diverse, and they can face challenges whilst navigating everyday life. Some are creative problem solvers, some favour independence and many want routine and order in their life. Some may struggle socially and become frustrated about the world around them.
What is adoption?
Some toddlers and school-age children need new adoptive families to care for them. Adoption means children can no longer live with their birth family, and the courts have decided they should be placed with a new adoptive family. As well as helping them develop in their health and education, you will play an important role in supporting them to understand their early life. By promoting their identity and culture, and putting their needs first, you can help them develop and be the best versions of themselves.

Adopt London North is a Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) based in North London. Our aim is to find families for all our children who need to be adopted. We are a local authority-based agency working with the London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington.
You can be single, part of a couple – with or without your own children. We welcome enquiries from all ethnicities and backgrounds. You’ll need to have space in your life and your home for a child to grow – now and in the future.
