Adult Adoptee UK is a group of volunteer adopted adults who came together during the 2021 UK Parliamentary inquiry into historic forced adoptions to help make adoptee voices heard. They run peer spaces, events and campaigns on rights and policy.
The website sets out who they are, why they exist and their aims: to raise adoptee voices, host adoptee-only spaces, engage decision-makers and advocate for justice and better support for adult adoptees.
