Transition to Adulthood for adopted young adults

10th November 2025 News

Transition to Adulthood is a new group for adopted adults set up by Adopt London. Adulthood isn’t just about age—it’s about confidence, planning, and knowing where to find help when you need it. The Transition to Adulthood sessions are designed to give you an opportunity to meet other young adopted adults so you can make new connections, access support, information and advice around adoption related topics, and discuss the experiences that matter to you most.

Our next three sessions will take place on is Thursday 15 January, Thursday 19 February and Thursday 19 March 2026.

Who can join?

If you’re between 18-24 years old, adopted and live in London, these sessions are for you.

When and where are the sessions held?

The meet ups are monthly and held in a venue near London Bridge (we’ll provide the details once you are signed up).

Why sign up now?

Because growing up doesn’t have to mean doing it alone. These sessions will:

  • Help you meet other adopted young adults
  • Create the support needed for other young adults like you
  • Build confidence in your decisions around adoption
  • Help you understand your rights and options

Ready to take the next step? Take a look at our flyer and sign up here to start your journey towards independence with the right support.
