Meet the children waiting to be adopted across London

Hello and welcome to the Adoption Shared podcast…

9th December 2021 News

‘Adoption Shared’ is a series of podcasts for the adoption community. The podcasts share personal stories of adopters, as well as advice and guidance from adoption professionals. Produced by We Are Family (WAF) in partnership with Adopt London, the podcasts offer a convenient way for adopters, WAF members and the general public to listen on demand, when it’s convenient.

In each episode, host Eddie Elliott meets adopters and professionals who share their insight and experiences of the adoption journey from a variety of perspectives. Adoptive dad Eddie says,

‘It’s important as a community of adopters to share ideas, experiences and things we’ve learnt …… I’ve met some amazing people and learnt some wonderful things …’.

One podcast offers advice on what to look for when selecting a primary school for your child, and what questions you should ask each school, another episode shares how best to support contact with your child’s birth family, and the latest podcast offers practical advice for navigating the festive season.
