Black Adoption Project’s Meet The Adopters

26th March 2026
7:30 pm — 9:00 pm
Virtual Online Meeting

Hosted by the Black Adoption Project, this event will have a panel of adoptive parents – all from the Black community – from a range of backgrounds. You’ll hear first-hand experiences and have a chance to ask your questions. Together we’ll have an open and honest conversation about adoption. If you are thinking about adopting a child, please sign up to join our Meet The Adopters event.

The Black Adoption Project wants to encourage and support single people and couples living in and around London who are Black, mixed-Black heritage and mixed Black relationship couples in adoption. We know our children often wait longer to find an adoptive family and it’s our mission is to encourage more families to come forward.

This session will be a relaxed and welcoming evening online. Our adopters will be sharing the highs, the challenges and the things they wish they’d known before they started the process. Whether you’re early in your adoption journey or just exploring the idea, this space will help you discover if adoption is right for you.
