Adopt London South – Q&A on Transracial Adoption
11th October 2022
12:30 pm — 1:30 pm
Virtual Online Meeting
A multi-ethnic family means celebrating your child’s ethnicity, engaging the whole family in your child’s culture and enjoying all it brings. You will need to prepare your child and your family for the challenges of racism, white privilege, prejudice and those “awkward questions” you will get when a child doesn’t obviously appear to look like the rest of their family. You will also need to think about: How will you build a child’s self-esteem? How will you manage your differences?
Join one of our Q&A sessions facilitated by our expert adoption staff and approved transracial adopters and get some advice about whether transracial adoption might be right for your family.
